I Have Not Loved Thee As I Ought, was released for sale! It is Dr. Narayan Nair's first professionally published work.
If you've read my book you'll know that Narayan Nair, and his wife Savita, are key players in God's work in the South Pacific. BEYOND ALL REASON tells their story: How God touched and changed their lives; how they grew to love Him and desire to obey Him; how they have faithfully carried out the plan He had for them, in spite of overwhelming odds.

| | | | | From the mission field... | | Posted by Cathy on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 6:23pm | From my vantage point on the mission field these past few months, I've seen God open the way for the book to impact people in ways I never suspected. It is both challenging and heart-warming to realize that none of this would have been possible if the Lord had not given me the ability to do the project.
- Some who have never been involved in church or who have been away for a long time, are curious about the "language" -- it is news to them! Servant leadership for one. How amazing it is to realize that the King of kings made a choice to come to us in the form of a man (a baby first). He came in humility, to lead us. He came to model true leadership for us. What is servant leadership? Looking out for the best interests of others (Matt. 20:28 - "...just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.") Remember, that "many" means you... if you can see and hear it....
- Some who had never known of this tiny but effective college ministry in the South Pacific learned about it through reading the book, and gave generous gifts to help in their time of need.
- Still others, who had never had a clue about the richness and intensity of life in Oceania, had their eyes opened to the various island nations and cultures, and the ways God has stirred hearts there. They have seen how He has opened amazing doors of opportunity, and has a sovereign plan for the college, its students and staff.
In two weeks I'll be in Lautoka, Fiji, getting involved in yet another construction project and seeing first-hand how God has moved in the past two years. I'll add a blog from there. Needless to say, I'm excited and greatly anticipating this part of the mission.
Meanwhile, please be in prayer for Dr. Narayan Nair, Principal of the college, who is experiencing health issues that have him in the hospital in Australia. We are trusting our faithful God, as always, for the best outcome of this serious event.

All the adjustments to the text are also completed so the FRESHLY UPDATED PAPERBACK version is also available.

This will take a little time... I want to make some corrections to the manuscript so it's clear and clean! Perhaps it will be ready in early Spring?
Thanks to all of you who have partnered with me in one way or another; through your generous gifts, your wise advice, your kind corrections! I look forward to how the LORD will use this book for His glory.

Copies of the book have already reached into several nations. More response is expected as the word gets out. Will you be among those who give the book a "good start" by word of mouth?
